Free up space on your Macin seconds, safely.

KeepFree finds the GB that Finder hides, like caches, logs and developer and AI leftovers. It cleans only what rebuilds itself and keeps the rest for 7 days, with undo.

On a real Mac: from 3.6 GB to 43.2 GB free in one day. KeepFree's own history, October 16, 2026.

In 1.5 minutes

KeepFree in action, from the full-disk warning to the watch.

The problems every Mac user runs into, and what KeepFree does about each one: it shows what fills your disk, cleans only what rebuilds itself, keeps the rest 7 days with undo, and keeps watch on its own.

On a real Mac, its maker's, available space went from 3.6 GB to 43.2 GB in one day of use (October 16, 2026, from KeepFree's own history).

The problem

The disk fills up on its own. And nobody tells you what is safe to delete.

“Your disk is almost full.” macOS warns you, but never says what you can delete without breaking anything. Meanwhile, developer caches, crash reports from an app stuck in a loop, old logs and AI models downloaded once keep growing in folders Finder hides. And when memory runs out in the middle of a build, all that is left is to restart and hope.

How it works

Junk goes in, room comes out.

KeepFree looks at the disk and memory. The safe junk it shows and cleans; what is yours only goes if you check it, and even then it is kept for a while.

  1. With Pro, it checks every3 hthe disk and memory, even with the app closed, and warns you before you pass your target.
  2. Finds to clean1.4 GBof caches, old logs and crash reports, all things that rebuild themselves. A real Mac's number, from the app window screenshot.
  3. Keeps what is yours for7 daysin quarantine, with undo. Nothing of yours disappears on the spot, and only what you checked goes.
Sees what you use (Pro and Complete)

Before cleaning, it checks what is open.

Each developer and AI tool gets a badge: open now, used today or idle. Open apps are left out, and from each tool only the leftovers go, like old versions and caches of deleted projects.

Only the safe junk

It cleans only what rebuilds itself.

It sweeps caches, old logs and crash reports and lights up each find. What is in use waits: with Chrome open, it asks you to close it first.

  1. npm cache688 MBrebuilds on the next package install.
  2. pnpm cache509 MBdownloaded again only when needed.
  3. Chrome cache322 MBwith Chrome open, it stays out: close Chrome to clean it.
  4. pip cache101 MBPython downloads it again if needed.
